Our Bunco Game

Here is the "rules" and "instructions" for our group. If I have missed something or stated something wrong (which is highly likely) or you feel that we should add something, please tell me BEFORE our first game so we can make the changes and I will have correct information to print for everyone.

Objective -
Roll as many “6”s as possible. If you roll three “6”s during your roll… it’s called a BUNCO.

Tables -
At the beginning, each of the 12 Players will draw one card that will have a Team # and a Player #. This will determine what table you are going to and who you are playing with. There will be 3 tables… 4 players to each table. Teams of 2 (your teammate will be the person sitting across from you).

Table #1 is the HEAD table with the “Bell”. They have control of when the game starts and when the game ends. When the bell rings, all tables will begin rolling. The rolling begins with a Bell and ends with a Bell. The first team at the HEAD Table to get 21 points will win and rings the “Bell”. The LOSING team from the HEAD TABLE leaves and goes to the bottom table. The WINNERS stay at the MAIN Table.

The LOSING teams from tables #2, #3 STAY at their tables & the WINNERS move up a table. The goal is to get to the Head Table & stay as long as possible.

You cannot have the same partner twice in a row (unless you are at the MAIN table). Each time you start a new game, you switch teammates except when you move to the Main Table #1.

Marissa, Renee, Arlene & TJ will provide 3 card tables & chairs to each Bunco Game.

The Game / Points-
Players score points for their team by rolling 3 dice.

Each “6” you roll = 1 point. (example- if you roll 2, 3, 6 = 1 point. example- 1, 6, 6 = 2 points). You keep rolling every time you get a “6” until you don’t roll a “6” again. As each team rolls a “6”, they will mark their score cards.

Each time a player rolls and all 3 dice are the same # (example- 2, 2, 2 or 5, 5, 5) you get to “roll over”.

Rolling 3 “1”s = Ace, not good! This means that all of the points your team has accumulated will be erased and you’ll start back at “0” points. But you get to roll again.

The PERSON who rolls three “6”s … gets a BUNCO and you mark it on your scorecard as 1 Bunco and will hold the Fuzzy Dice until another player gets a Bunco. If you pick up 2 out of the 3 dice, your team will get 6 points. So be quick and pick up the dice!!!! If you rolled the BUNCO but your team didn’t pick up the dice… you still get to roll again.

Arlene will provide the Bunco game to each game. Marissa will provide the score cards.

Prizes-
At the end of the game, there are prizes for the following categories. Even the losers get a prize ;)
